This book is Jennings' version of The Royal Road to Card Magic. You won't find complex techniques like palm, cull, or pass here. Instead, you'll get an in-depth study of the basic movements - the double lift or the double undercut. You'll also learn to properly use the essential tool every card magician should know - a break.
Each technique is described in different versions. Because of Larry Jennings' close friendship with Dai Vernon, you will learn several techniques from "The Professor's" point of view.
As with The Royal Road to Card Magic, you will learn to use the techniques through the explained effects; there are over 120 of them!
