Miguel Bravo is known in the online world as Libros de Magia. He focuses on the beauty of magic books. In 2024, we started an online collaboration with him through his love for our Butterfly Playing Cards.

Now, he is releasing his original magic trick, which takes advantage of the features built into our borderless marked Butterfly decks. You can also perform this with our Bicycle Vintage Back deck. You will need either of these decks, five envelopes, and five blank cards to perform this effect.

What is the effect?

"With the magician facing away, someone from the audience shuffles the deck, chooses a card, and hides it inside one of five envelopes. The magician turns around and, without touching the deck and without even looking at the envelopes, divines which envelope the card is hidden in and which card it is."

This means that in this one routine, you basically perform two effects. First, you find the location of the chosen card, and then you also correctly name its identity.

You can perform this routine in close-up settings and on stage.
