Butterfly Playing Cards Borderless Seasons Prototype Set

In 2021, we released the first edition of our Butterfly Seasons decks. Those had a bordered design. We also wanted to make them for magicians.

Before we could print them with our trademark marking system, we printed one hundred prototype decks of each season to find out how the markings work with the colorful design.

How did that end up? We had to change the colors of all four decks to make the markings easier to read. This color difference from the standard run makes the prototypes even more unique.

They have black printed tuck boxes, similar to the ones we used for the bordered Seasons decks. The prototypes don’t have cellophane on the tuck boxes. However, the cards inside are still sealed in cellophane.

Twenty-four sets of four Butterfly Borderless Seasons prototype decks are now available.

Each set will include one prototype deck for each season: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. All decks will come with a deck sleeve for protection.
