Tavern on the Green is a traditional New York restaurant in Central Park. It was first opened in 1934 and has been operating in its current form since 2014.
They released their first deck with theory11 a few years ago. It had a green and white back design. This second edition got a few extra servings of luxury.
Its back design is red and gold, with all the gold elements being foil. The cards are extremely shiny. The faces are original and in an Art Deco style with metallic inks.
These cards were designed by Kevin Cantrell, known for his elegant style. This is evident, for example, in his The Lord of the Rings Playing Cards.
