Permanent Record by Ben Seidman
Product detailed description
Ben Seidman’s Permanent Record is a mind-boggling card effect.
A spectator is holding a card box in their hands and thinks of a card, for example, the Queen of Hearts. You tell them they might have been influenced because the Queen of Hearts is printed on the back of the box they are holding and ask them to take a look.
You then take the cards out of the box, hand the box back to the spectator, and let them pick a card. For example, they land on the Ten of Hearts.
Their memory of the back of the box is questioned because when they turn the box for the second time, it no longer displays the Queen of Hearts but the Ten of Hearts!
A great thing about Ben’s routine is that you end clean, and your spectator can inspect the box as much as they like.
The package includes a specially printed red Bicycle deck and gimmicks for red and blue cards.
The instructional video also includes Jonathan Pickard’s Ambideckstrous routine. It was the first publicly released routine using this type of gimmick.
