The Luxury Seafarers Commodore and Admiral Edition cards were created by Joker and Thief Playing Cards in collaboration with designer Gustavo Magalhaes in 2023 to create a luxury version of the classic Seafarers.
As typical for Joker and Thief cards, the box is ornate and embossed.
The Seafarers Commodore cards combine navy blue with bronze metallic ink and foil on and inside the box. A special perforated seal is also a unique feature for easy first opening of the deck.
The cards have a navy blue reverse with bronze artwork inspired by seafaring. The faces are customized, both in color and design. Spades and Clubs combine black and bronze, and Hearts and Diamonds combine red and bronze. The court cards are completely redesigned and have a different uniform motif for each suit.
The Luxury Seafarers Admiral Edition cards were printed by the United States Playing Cards Company on crushed Casino Stock.
