Bee Coterie Gold Seal was created in 2011 as a luxurious and modern version of the classic Bee cards. One-fifth of the original edition was reserved for higher-ranking members of the Coterie of Prestidigitation Artists - the artists who rally around the Expert at the Card Table book.
The cards retain the typical diamond Bee design on the reverse but in a black/gold combination. Unlike the classic Bee cards, they also have a white border. The faces are standard USPCC.
In the deck, you will find 2 identical jokers, a double back card, and a special half-face gaff card - the King of Hearts/back.
The cards were printed by the United States Playing Card Company on Casino stock.
After the first edition (5200 decks) sold out, a reprint was planned but never happened.
