Eclipse by Dee Christopher and The 1914 is a huge project looking into ESP (Zener) cards. Psychologist Carl Zener designed these cards, featuring five different symbols - circle, cross, wave, rectangle, and star. They were used for extrasensory perception research. Nowadays, they belong to mentalists’ popular tools.

You will learn four routines by Dee Christopher. You can correctly predict a symbol chosen by the spectator in ESP Opener. The Sensor routine will allow you to tell symbols apart just by touch.

During the Gambit ESP, a spectator chooses a symbol using an envelope with a prediction on the bottom. Moreover, inside the envelope, there is a prediction of a serial number that can be found on a banknote given to you by the spectator at the beginning of the effect.

The Distance routine shows that you can correctly tell a symbol not just from a close-up range but also from further away.

Lewis Le Val will share his interesting and original approach to the ESP symbols as well.

A great advantage of ESP cards in Eclipse is that their marking system is readable even if you stand a few meters away.

The cards are made from plastic, meaning they will last a long time and are water-resistant.
