Oil & Water is an absolute classic card trick. Red cards are mixed with black cards, and they always separate, just like oil and water. There are thousands of versions of this effect. Anthony Owen created, in our opinion, one of the most practical ones.

The Ultimate Oil & Water does not require any knuckle-busting techniques. The cards do almost everything for you. You show three red and three black cards, mix them one by one, and they will always separate.

This is a three-phase routine, with the final phase starting with the cards being mixed face up so the spectator can clearly see they are really getting mixed.
