Christian Grace's newest creation, HEX, combines card magic with a hint of mind-reading.

You ask the spectator to think of any card. You give them a deck so they can use their thought-of card to spell to a real card. The spectator now has one card in their head and one card in their hand.

What follows seems impossible. You can correctly name them both! Surprisingly, that's not the most surprising part.

You then tell them that it was just a creation of their imagination. You spread the deck and show that they are all blank! There are no actual cards.
