Josh Burch has created the Falcon Ring, which solves this problem. The Falcon Ring is a magnetic ring with a silicone sleeve that absorbs all unwanted sounds that might occur during a performance.

The package contains three rings with diameters of 18, 20, and 21 mm (US sizes 8, 10, and 11.5). This gives you the opportunity to find the right size. You can also change rings and wear them on your middle finger during one show and on your ring finger during another, depending on how you use them. You can also keep one hidden in your pocket as a holdout for quickly getting rid of metal/magnetic props.
