Who doesn't know the classic stage illusion in which the assistant hides in a box, and the magician then saws them in half? This illusion inspired Angelo Carbone to create the Demi Deck.

Demi Deck moves that illusion into card magic. A deck of cards is placed in a black case. You show a “blade” and push it through the deck. You then open the sleeve halfway and flip it open to show that the deck is now actually in two pieces. You put the halves back together, pull the “blade” out, and remove the intact deck of cards from the case.

Demi Deck is easy to perform, and you don't need any manipulations.

Also included are two unique halved cards with the Queen of Hearts and the red Maiden Back. You can use these cards to emphasize the illusion of a cut in the deck.
