The AF ESP Deck brings interesting and practical improvements to classic ESP cards.

Alexander Marsh is a British mentalist. You may know him from his previously released projects (Thy Will Be Done, HOT, Billet Masterclass). In collaboration with Vanishing Inc., he presents his version of the ESP deck.

The AF ESP Deck has different dimensions from classic cards—62 x 100 mm. Thanks to its longer and narrower shape, it doesn’t look like standard poker cards. To further distinguish this deck from playing cards, it doesn’t come in a box but in a document-style envelope.

Anyone who frequently works with ESP cards will appreciate that they are made of plastic. This makes them water-resistant and virtually indestructible.

The backs feature a distressed design to make them look well-worn. They are one-way and also conceal a clever marking system that lets you always know which card is which.

Alex has also included a triangle symbol in his set to replace the wavy lines (they are also included in the deck). He explains that, since all the other symbols except the wavy lines are basic geometric shapes, using wavy lines doesn’t really make sense.

The package includes a one-hour instructional video in which Alex teaches you how to read the markings and, most importantly, how to use the cards themselves.

• AM’s Matchup - The magician and a spectator gradually place five cards with different symbols on the table. Their cards match perfectly!
• AM’s Tableless Matchup - Three cards selected by a spectator match the wallpaper on the magician's phone.
• Visa Cabaret Style - The magician pulls three cards from a shuffled deck and places them in different pockets. The spectator then does the same. Both have the same cards in their pockets!
• Jazz Gemini Twins - The spectator randomly places two cards with different symbols face up into the deck.

The deck contains five cards for each of the ESP symbols mentioned. It also includes seven trick cards:
