We are so proud and excited to introduce you to The Butterfly Magic Club!

It is a place where we will teach you magic tricks and techniques and discuss areas of magic beyond methodology, including scripting, routining, building a show, and more.

The Butterfly Magic Club is spearheaded by our founder, Ondrej Psenicka, a professional magician with over thirty years of experience, and a three-time fooler from the popular TV show Penn & Teller: Fool Us. He also created the Butterfly Playing Cards.

Ondrej wanted to open the Club with a bang. We are starting with a massive six-part project on the stripper deck.

It is one of the three most popular trick decks, along with the Svengali and Invisible Decks.

Anyone familiar with the stripper deck knows the most basic effect, where the magician flawlessly “strips out” the selected card from the middle of the deck.

Fun fact: Did you know the name stripper deck is technically incorrect? It was given to the deck because of the stripping action. The original name is tapered deck. The same applies to the Invisible deck, which got its current name from the most popular routine performed with it.

Ondrej will show you that there is so much more to the stripper deck than that basic effect. He will teach you tricks that might even fool your magician friends.

He will discuss tricks, techniques, ways to handle the deck in front of an audience, and more.

But the Butterfly Magic Club is not just about the stripper deck. We will explore more magic, dive into techniques and performance skills, and give you practice tips. We want to build a platform where we can all develop and grow as magicians.

There will be two new videos per month. This will give you time to watch one video before the next is released, and we want to make sure we provide you with the most valuable content possible.

The Butterfly Magic Club runs on Patreon. We have two subscription tiers to choose from:

    • A FREE deck from the Butterfly Playing Cards production will be delivered to your house every three months. That’s four free decks per year if you’re a member of The Inner Circle. Whenever it’s time for your free deck, you will be able to select from three options. We will also offer you the option to add anything to take advantage of the free shipping.
